Mecum Auctions is bringing its collector car auction to Music City for the very first time. The new Mecum Nashville event lands at Nashville Superspeedway this month, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the season’s bigger stops on the collector car calendar.

About Mecum Nashville
This is Mecum’s inaugural auction at Nashville Superspeedway, marking the company’s first-ever event in Tennessee. It’s a five-day affair, and Mecum expects roughly 1,200 classic and collector vehicles to cross the block. Gates open at 8:00 AM each day, with the collector car auction running from 10:00 AM until close, and a Road Art auction ahead of the vehicles each morning at 9:00 AM. Complimentary parking is available on-site.
Beyond the block, Mecum has built out a full slate of entertainment: a walking tour of top consignments led by Matt Avery, live music and a preview show on the Entertainment Stage, meet-and-greets with metal artist Rae Ripple and YouTube personality Derek Bieri, and an Adventure Zone with activities for kids.
What’s Crossing the Block
With an estimated 1,200 vehicles on offer, buyers can expect a broad mix of muscle cars, classics, trucks, and modern collectibles typical of a Mecum auction, much of it organized into named private collections. A few highlights:
- The Roush Automotive Collection: a Ford NASCAR-heavy lineup from Jack Roush’s Roush Performance and RFK Racing, plus a companion group of race-driven Road Art signed by drivers like Mark Martin and Greg Biffle.
- Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage Collection: a domestic-heavy mix spanning a ’55 Bel Air to a 2010 Corvette ZR1.
- Cars of the Lane Motor Museum: a run of rarities, including a “American Pickers”-famous Lloyd LT 600 van.
- Additional named groups from collectors include the Clark, Boyd, Barry Alexander, Chesco Classics, Door County, and Schroeder Family collections, among others.
